ATV Trail Information

For your convenience, safety and in consideration of other guests please note the following as they apply to all terrain vehicle operation at the Telemark Resort:

Where Can I Ride My ATV? Starting from Telemark Resort, take Telemark Road to Spider Lake Fire Lane to the Sawyer County ATV Trail system. It is best to consult the available maps of the trail systems to determine where riding is considered legal and encouraged. Please ride only on marked ATV trails.

Where Should I Not Ride My ATV? The ski, hiking and snowshoe trails on the Telemark Resort property are not open to ATV riding. In addition the gravel roads leading from the property and the slopes of Mt. Telemark are not open for ATV riding. Most importantly, riding is not allowed on the Telemark Golf Course property or on any part of the Mt. Telemark ski hill.

Are Maps of the Trail System Available? Maps are available that show the established ATV trails in Bayfield County and Sawyer County. They can usually be found at the information desk in the lobby of Telemark Resort or at the Cable or Hayward Area Chambers of Commerce.

Helmets and proper clothing including eye protection, gloves and sturdy clothes are recommended. Please do not ride under the influence of alcoholic beverages. Respect the property rights of others and ride only on marked and approved ATV trails. Always check with the Cable Chamber of Commerce at 798-3833 or the Hayward Chamber of Commerce at 634-8662 for trail closures.
